i love the law. i love writing, i love reading, i love journalism, but i really love the law. the constitution actually gets me excited. if the LSATs go better than the SATs did for me (i know, i know, "they're different") i will definitely attend law school after I complete my undergraduate at UNH.
so, i'm prettttty pumped for tomorrow. Greg Sullivan works in a field of law that I have no desire to work in, but it's combining two near-and-dear things (media, and the law) that i enjoy.
i would love to go into business or corporate law. i LOVE contracts (how lame is that?). but kind of like journalism, they follow a layout, there are rules and the formula is specific. (journalism is obviously a lot more creative than outlining a lawsuit).
i'm hoping to have the first amendment memorized, but i know i won't be able to recite it. the amendments are so cool - i am curios to see how he will relate the constitution / bill of rights / amendments to current day journalism. i bet the privacy amendment (4th) will be discussed, and probably strict scrutiny too. regardless, it will certainly be interesting.
